Many musicians have benefited from Unisound's assistance in their musical project. Our studios are equipped with a highly rated digital recording software & hardware used by many professionals and some of the big names in the industry around the world. RECORDING CONTRACTS:
There are currently the following options for anyone to consider. Artists may request any variation or specific requirements, but is subject to consideration and approval by Unisound.
1. STUDIO HIRE
(services offered in Solomon Islands and FSM subject to appointment)
This is for Artists or individuals to engage Unisound Studios services on a "Studio Hire" basis. The product generated shall become the property of the client, and upon completion of your project, you may consider to use our cassette & Cd duplication, artwork design, and packaging services. Contact us for more details, special rates can be negotiated where justified.
2. ROYALTY PACKAGES
(offered to selected Artists in Solomon Islands and FSM)
This is provided to Artists wishing to engage Unisound Enterprises Limited to produce, package, promote, and market the music product exclusively under the Unisound label. Under this arrangement, the Project is owned and handled exclusively by Unisound, and the Artist shall be entitled to a Royalty payment for each piece of the product sold. The Artist is not liable for any expenses under this arrangement, except for hire of Session Musicians (if needed) to program or arrange the music. This package is offered to selected Artists only, and Unisound management reserves the right to choose suitable parties to work with under this category.

3. SHARED RIGHTS PACKAGES
(offered to Artists inSolomon Islands only)
This is a package offered to Artists and individuals who may have limited finance to get started, and are prepared to participate in responsibility and risk sharing towards their album project.
The Artist shall be responsible to provide the creative material for the project, and Unisound to develop the finished product for commercial release.
All production costs shall be met by the Executive Producer, except the Session Musician Hire (subject to negotiations based on the type of work required) and a Commitment Fee (SBD$1,500+) which are payable by the Artist upon execution of the agreement.
The Artist & Unisound shall share equal rights to Sales & Distribution of the Product after completion. Both parties shall be individually responsible for their own marketing of the product. The Artist shall be obliged to buy the finished product from Unisound only. An agreement will be executed to ensure that both parties understand their obligations and benefits.
Advantages with this option:
- Copyright on the songs remain with the Artist and shall own a copy of the "Master"
- Artists may distribute under their own terms DIRECT to any shop outlet desired
- Entitled to a SPECIAL PROMOTION PACKAGE currently on offer to Artists upon completion of the recorded product.

Unisound Studios recognizes the need of many musicians who may not be financially prepared to start their own project, or simply do not know where to start.
With this in mind, we have devised this new "Formula" that allows musicians to record their album project, have access the good studio facility in S.I, get help from some of the most skilled and experienced local musicians to arrange / program their music, and most importantly... to retain ownership of the Songs' copyright.
